
Aisha Chilcoat MD, FABNO, IFMCP
Aisha Chilcoat, ND, FABNO, IFMCP, is a naturopathic doctor who earned her doctorate degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, and holds a master’s degree in jurisprudence in health law from Widener University School of Law and in public health from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. Dr. Chilcoat completed several advanced training courses in environmental medicine and a two-year naturopathic oncology residency at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. In addition, Dr. Chilcoat holds advanced distinction as a certified practitioner from The Institute of Functional Medicine (IFMCP) and as a fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO).
Dr. Chilcoat worked as a naturopathic oncology provider at the CTCA Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Newnan, GA, and provided personalized naturopathic recommendations using several natural therapies such as vitamins and minerals, homeopathic remedies, and herbal medicine while patients were undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. Dr. Chilcoat primarily treated those diagnosed with hematological malignancy and worked diligently with patients in survivorship to support their lifestyle, nutrition, and other health concerns.
Dr. Chilcoat is currently a third-year NIH-T32 post-doctoral research fellow in the program on integrative medicine at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She currently works on several CIM-related research clinical trials.
Prior to pursuing an education in naturopathic medicine, Dr. Chilcoat spent several years as a clinical researcher working on academic and pharmaceutical sponsored trials.
